  Dr. Latia Ilyadis is a highly experienced, dual board-certified physician specializing in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. With more than a decade of clinical experience, she brings a unique blend of medical expertise, cultural sensitivity, and a deep commitment to patient care. Her approach to healthcare is holistic and patient-centered, focusing on long-term well-being, disease prevention, and individualized care. Her broad clinical training allows her to provide expert care across all stages of life, from newborns to adults. A Diverse Clinical Background After earning her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Ilyadis completed her Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency at Albany Medical Center. During this time, she gained extensive experience in critical care settings, including Medical, Cardiac, Pediatric, and Neonatal Intensive Care Units. Dr. Ilyadis’s career spans various healthcare settings, allowing her to gain valuable experience in both outpatient and community-based environments. Her role at Caswell Family Medical Center in Yanceyville, NC, further expanded her expertise. She provided comprehensive care to both adult and pediatric patients, managing acute and chronic conditions while coordinating care with multidisciplinary healthcare teams. This early exposure to caregiving inspired Dr. Ilyadis to pursue a career in medicine. Today, she incorporates both modern medical knowledge and holistic, patient-centered care into her practice. Commitment to Community Service Dr. Ilyadis’s career is defined by her compassion for patients and dedication to community service. She also served as a resident physician at a homeless shelter's free health clinic in Albany, NY, and has mentored numerous medical students, guiding the next generation of healthcare professionals.   Hi, my name is Amy Neuenschwander. I am originally from Southeast Kansas, married for the past 17 years to my spouse Chad Neuenschwander. We recently moved here to beautiful Vero Beach for my husband’s job. We are very excited to be here and enjoy all that Vero and Florida has to offer for a healthy lifestyle. I have been in the medical field for the past 18 years as a medical assistant. My passion has always been to help take care of people and families. At a very young age, unfortunately, my father was diagnosed with cancer. At that point I knew I had a passion for taking care of people. I started my journey in health care in Independence, KS working for a Family Medicine provider for 3 years. I then moved to Hesston, KS where I married my spouse and worked for more than 9 years in Family Medicine. We then moved to Fredonia, KS and I worked in Family Medicine as a MA for one year before transitioning into the Business Office Manager roll. Finally, my spouse’s job took us to Wichita, KS where I worked as a MA in an Endocrinology Office for 6 years until we moved to Vero Beach. When I’m not working, I enjoy cooking, grilling, traveling, and walking the beach with my spouse and our dogs Bow and Briggs. I look forward to meeting you all at Island Health Concierge Medicine.
